About the rather long hiatus I’ve been on.

Yeah, I know I’ve not been here in a long time, I’ve had some personal issues to get through, including some mental health-related ones. I deeply apologize for that. I am now starting therapy and other means of making things better for myself, and I will have new art to post as soon as I …

Commissions Page Now Available

I have finally created a page for commissions, although I am not actually opening here just yet. There’s still a little more to do before I am able to do that, but I thought it a good idea for people to be able to see my rules and pricing beforehand so y’all are given a …

The Mario Movie is HERE!

At last the Mario movie is now playing in theaters! I’ve already gone to see it and it was SO FUN! I LOVED IT! I don’t typically like showing pictures of myself simply because I don’t really like my picture being taken, but this was an exception, lol. So now you know what I look like. I’m a huge Luigi fan, as you can see! Loved him ever since I was a little kid and would make my brothers let me be player 2 when playing those old Mario games so I could play Luigi. He is still one of my absolute favorites!

But going back to the movie, here’s my full review. But I should mention that I was already a fan of Illumination movies such as Sing and The Secret Life of Pets, so I may be kinda biased. Anyway, I don’t agree with those I’ve seen saying that there wasn’t much plot. I thought there was enough, and Mario isn’t known for deep plots anyway. It was simple, yet effective and true to the Mario series! I also disagree with the complaints about Peach, I like that she is more of a girl boss here than she usually is. Her being kidnapped so much has gotten stale, and I was never a fan of her. This was the first time I actually legit loved her. Luigi’s portrayal was near perfect imo, I loved him just as much as I always have! If I had to make a change to anything here, it would be to let Luigi get some power-up usage. He didn’t really get any. But hopefully he will in a sequel! Overall, I thought the characters and acting were great, the music and animation were great, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how relatable the brothers are here and that we got some actual backstories on some characters! And while Chris Pratt was never my first choice for a voice of Mario, I don’t think he was terrible. Everybody else’s voices were amazing anyway! And also, the REFERENCES AND EASTER EGGS. Yes to all of them.

Overall, this is now one of my favorite movies ever, I really want a sequel, and I will surely buy it or stream it when it becomes available to do so! I will give the movie a very high score of 9.5/10! Simply because nothing is perfect and I don’t ever expect it to be. It is very hard for me to give anything a perfect score. I hope the sequel adds Princess Daisy and Rosalina, when/if we get it. Daisy is another one of my favorite characters.

Happy New Year to all!

To be honest, I don’t really celebrate New Year, as it’s never been a big deal to me. But for those here who do, I hope you have a good day and that we all have a good year ahead! The things I’m already most excited for this year myself are a few new games …

Merry Christmas, everyone! And RIP: Franco Harris

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas today and a happy new year! I was very sad to hear of Franco Harris’s passing right before the Steelers would celebrate 50 years since his Immaculate Reception on Christmas Eve. May he rest in peace. His legacy will live on in this city forever! The Steelers won for …

Happy Halloween!

Have a spooky fun day, everybody! Hope we all get plenty of candy and good costumes to see! My pumpkins this year are Disney themed. I only had one of them carved at the time of this video. The other now has a Minnie Mouse shape design.
