I’ve finally ended this shiny hunt, YES!! It came very close to 5000 total encounters too lol. 4971 to be exact. Giratina is one of my favorites and it as one of the coolest shinies, so I had to hunt it in this game. Gen 4 is still my favorite Pokemon generation, so I’ve put a lot of hours into Brilliant Diamond. I started shiny hunting back in 2020 kind of as the COVID pandemic hit, as I was winding up with a lot of time at home on my hands, and I got inspired by some other shiny hunters. And I don’t plan on quitting anytime soon!
