Concept
Announcing my biggest project and dream! Wonders of Fantasy is meant to be a potential theme park centered around fantasy creatures and elements, such as dragons and unicorns. The park aims to provide a hopefully more affordable but magical alternative to places like Disney parks and Universal (no disrespect to them, of course, as I am a huge Disney fan!).
I am also (albeit slowly, I admit…) working on an idea for a children’s book about the mascot characters and the park’s development. The park itself would feature rides and attractions for people of all ages, from big roller coasters to little rides for tots. It’s not just for kids or adults or families, it’s for all of them! Ideally, the park would be built somewhere down south where it can be a year-round thing. Right now I have middle to southern Georgia, United States in mind (I am American, after all), but this could very well change.
Inspiration
The inspiration for the park mainly comes from Disney World, most specifically Animal Kingdom. But not anything currently in that park itself. When Animal kingdom was in development, it was planned to have an area themed to mythical creatures, called the Beastly Kingdom. The park logo even still has a dragon on it to this very day! But this area wasn’t part of the opening day lineup of stuff, so it was pushed back. The place it was going to be built in was made into the intentionally temporary Camp Minnie-Mickey (which is now the Avatar-themed land). But sadly, Beastly Kingdom never came to fruition and this always disappointed me. So I’m doing what Disney World did not! I’m also inspired by things Walt Disney himself did when he opened Disneyland. The goal is to be akin to that.

Mascots

Meet Mystic the Unicorn and Clawde the Dragon! These two lead the party for this park, and they have several friends as well! More information coming soon. You can also see updates on my Twitter/X page, linked at the bottom of the website. Note that these are just concept illustrations, by the way, and that the art used for the book or other media will be more refined and cleaner.
